Stacey and Arron are just a treat to be around. They’re down to earth, fun people and it was such a lovely wedding day to be asked to capture. As a recommended wedding photographer at The Devonshire Fell in Burnsall, where I know the atmosphere and surroundings are super professional, yet relaxed, I knew this was going to be just the perfect day and it really suits my style of photography. I’m also just based down the road from this established Yorkshire wedding venue, so I always love to drive up to the Fell as it’s such a beautiful route.

Summer weather in the Yorkshire Dales can be variable to say the least, but we did’t let a breezy inclement day interrupt anything at all and I knew Stacey and Arron wanted to head to Burnsall Bridge for some of their portraits – so a little drop of rain wasn’t going to stop us! We had already done their pre-wedding shoot in Burnsall, so we knew some of the locations we wanted to head to on the wedding day itself. That’s the great thing about having a pre-wedding shoot – it not only gives us some time together in advance of the wedding itself but we can also explore and test run some of the locations we might use on the day.

Being a Yorkshire Dales wedding photographer who loves to be outdoors, I’m pretty hardy when it comes to changeable weather and it’s always so great when my couples and their bridal party are willing to brave the elements too! Hats off to Stacey and her bridesmaids, because for an August wedding day in Yorkshire, this was a chilly one, but we headed to the bridge nonetheless for some great portraits!

Wedding photography at the Devonshire Fell is also ideal in that the venue has outside space to use as a backdrop too. The gardens are really pretty and the steps from the front entrance are ideal for a confetti shot – Stacey and Arron’s is one of my all time favourites!

Here’s what Stacey and Arron had to say about their wedding photography at The Devonshire Fell:-

“Thank you so much, we absolutely love the pictures! You have captured the day so well and we are so pleased!! They are perfect.”

If you’d like to talk to me about your wedding photography in Skipton or your wedding in the Yorkshire Dales, I would love to hear all about your plans.
