Thank you for popping on over to my about page to find out a little bit more about me! 

I’ve been a professional photographer for over a decade now and in that time I have photographed many, many weddings in Yorkshire and I have had the privilege of stepping into the most important day of my couple’s lives to tell their wedding day story in photographs.  

Choosing your wedding photographer is as much about finding the right person as it is about finding the style of photography that you love – the two go hand in hand really.  

I’m down to earth and pretty laid back, a bit of a perfectionist and most definitely a hard worker.  I’ve been told by many of my couples what a calming influence I was on their day. This is such a lovely thing to hear but it’s also great for my future couples to know in terms of the personality that I bring to your wedding day – I’m with you at such a key time in your lives, so it’s important to know this I think! 

I like to get to know my couples, and so helping you feel at ease with me as your photographer is something that really matters to me. It also means that once you’re relaxed then your photographs will tell your wedding day story in a very real way as nothing is too posed or forced and you can concentrate on enjoying your day! 

As you can see I LOVE countryside weddings and because I’m based close to the Yorkshire Dales, I get the chance to work in some absolutely beautiful wedding venues. So whether you’re a welly wearing couple, outdoorsy and happy amongst the trees, or you’re more inclined to be a little bit country chic with a touch of elegance, I will no doubt be a big fan of the day you have planned. 

When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll find me walking in the countryside with my rescue Springer Spaniel, constantly seeking out the best coffee wherever I go and playing my piano whenever I get the chance. I love interior design and I’m a big fan of creative and beautiful things – ceramics in particular. I think I could be classed as a collector!

(please excuse that pun).
