With a background in marketing, I really enjoy getting to know a business and the people behind it. I particularly love to work with small to medium sized businesses, and I have lots of experience of creating images that successfully communicate a lifestyle brand.
I’ll spend time with you as a business owner, understanding how your photography needs to work for you, what it will be used for and the aims in creating the images. From creating a relaxed business portrait for your website and social media, to creatively capturing your business and its style to communicate with your customer, I can advise and support you along the way.
As a commercial photographer in Yorkshire, I have created images for artisan coffee bars, interior designers, hotels, restaurants, chefs, food producers, artists, crafters and the wedding industry as well as professional services such as HR and Law.
I work mainly with available natural light to achieve a lifestyle feel and a natural look to my images.
My marketing credentials include:-
• Serious Marketing, Marketing Consultant (advising small businesses and the arts industry)
• Communications Director, National Media Museum
• Marketing Director, Eureka! The Museum for Children
• Marketing Manager, Alhambra Theatre
Do get in touch, I’d love to hear how I can support you and your business.
We worked with Kathryn for our company’s team shots and it’s fair to say we were a particular bunch, with lots of boxes to tick! As a PR consultancy our photography typically travels far and wide from being used on our website to accompanying team press releases and of course on social media – so we need to get it right!
Kathryn was a dream to work with, considerate, understanding and really put us all at ease – which comes across clearly in the resulting images. Kathryn really captured the essence of who we are as individuals and the strength of us as a collective. It really was one of the best shoots with some of the best results we’ve ever had.
