FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS

How do we make a booking with you?

I ask for a save the date deposit to secure your booking with me together with a completed booking form. To check my availability for your wedding date, please get in touch via my contact form

How long do you stay?

My wedding collections start from 3 hours right up to a full day of wedding photography.

Is travel included in your prices?

Yes travel is included up to an hour from where I’m based. If your wedding location is further away than that, I just include a mileage fee to cover additional costs.

Do we own copyright of our pictures?

Copyright of your images remains with me, however I supply the photographs to you with personal usage rights so that you can print them and share them on social media as you wish.

How many photographs do we receive?

Every wedding is different and it will depend on the level of coverage you require, but you’ll receive a collection that tells the story of your day in its fullest form.

Do you do group shots?

They’re an important record of your day, so yes I do. Depending on how long I’m with you will depend how much time we have but I usually try to keep group shots to no more than 6 to 8 different combinations. This means it keeps your day flowing nicely without them taking over too much.

Do you have back up equipment on the day?

Yes, I have two cameras that I work with and also spare cameras and lenses on hand too. I have spare batteries and plenty of spare memory cards.

Are you insured?

Yes. I have full professional insurance including public liability insurance.

What happens if you can’t make it on the day for any reason?

In the unusual event of me not being able to get there (due to illness or severe weather conditions for example), I have a network of photographers I can call upon and I would always ensure there is some cover in place in the event of such an emergency.

How soon do we receive our photographs?

I like to get them to you as soon as I can but within 6 to 8 weeks is my usual time frame during a busy season.

Do you work on your own?

In the main, yes. My unobtrusive style for the more intimate wedding means that I can work on my own without being noticed too much. If logistics mean that I have to be in two places at once, we can discuss a second photographer being in place if it’s necessary.

Do you offer albums?

Yes, absolutely. I work with a Yorkshire-based fine art album company who make the most beautiful products. Please just ask me for more details.

Do we need to provide a meal for you?

On a long day when I’m shooting the whole day, a meal and a drink is much appreciated. If I’m with you for shorter hours then it’s not always necessary.
