I LOVE countryside weddings in Yorkshire. And I’m very lucky to be a wedding photographer based close to the Yorkshire Dales so when I get to work at the wonderful Yorebridge House, I’m very happy indeed! This is a beautiful wedding venue; it is intimate, stylish and full of all the right ingredients for the relaxed couple who want their day to be natural and beautiful. And I know the food is amazing too!

Anna and Stephen’s wedding at Yorebridge House was nothing short of a treat to capture. Truly genuine people and this day was as much about their children as it was about them. I had already met them on their pre-wedding photo shoot which we did a little further down the road in Kettlewell so we all knew each other and everything was nicely relaxed from the get go.

Wedding photography at Yorebridge House is also full of all the right ingredients – a stylish interior and a stunning garden and surrounding area that’s just perfect for some natural captures.

What also made this wedding so special was the couple’s son and daughter being so involved in the day – as Chief Flower Girl and Best Man. Let me tell you, the Best Man’s speech was one of the most impressive I’ve heard – absolutely perfect and left everyone (including me)! with a tear or two to contend with.

After dinner, there was the most stunning September sunset starting to appear so I asked Anna and Stephen to come back outside with me and it was really worth it for some beautiful early evening golden light – quite magical really.

All in all this was such a special day to capture and I can’t wait to be back at Yorebridge House for my weddings in 2019.
