My story is what captures your story ✨ And this

My story is what captures your story ✨

And this is how my professional photography story started ~ with this camera.

It belonged to my Grandfather who was also a photographer ~ he was a Chartered Accountant by profession, but photography was his passion.

I don’t think accountancy has ever really filtered down to me (!) but photography and my love for it certainly has!

This camera began my journey into the craft ~ for those interested, it’s a 35mm Pentax Spotmatic. It’s circa late 1960’s and was the first SLR (single lens reflex) camera I picked up. Although I’ve always been “the one with the camera” from being young.

The Pentax was my learning tool before turning professional, but with A LOT of additional learning ~ around 12 or so years later and here I am 😊

And that might all sound lovely and simple ~ but I promise you, there is graft needed to turn this craft into a profession!

There’ll be more to this story coming soon, so do keep following, I may not be posting so regularly just now but it’s very busy behind the lens with exciting things happening
